Still lifes by Abraham Mignon
During the Golden Age, the lavish still lifes with brightly colored flowers and fruits of Abraham Mignon were very popular. Even the French King Louis XIV and the Elector of Saxony bought his works. Mignon's paintings can still be seen, for example in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and the Louvre in Paris.
